Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Research Assistant to contribute to research in GNSS interference detection, transportation systems, and navigation technology. The candidate will work closely with faculty and researchers to conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to publications and project reports. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on research experience while supporting critical projects in transportation and positioning technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on GNSS technology, signal interference detection, and intelligent transportation systems.
Assist in data acquisition, processing, and analysis using relevant programming and analytical tools.
Develop and validate models for navigation and positioning applications.
Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations.
Maintain research databases and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and partners on ongoing projects.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in transportation and GNSS.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with experience in programming (Python, MATLAB, or C++).
Familiarity with GNSS technology, signal processing, or transportation systems is preferred.
Experience with data analysis tools, GIS software, or machine learning is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
