About the Company

The Aerospace Corporation is the trusted partner to the nation’s space programs, solving complex challenges and providing unmatched technical expertise. As the operator of a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC), Aerospace is engaged across all aspects of space—delivering innovative solutions spanning satellite, launch, ground, and cyber systems for defense, civil, and commercial customers. Joining the team means becoming part of a community of problem solvers, thought leaders, and innovators shaping the future of space.

The Mission Payloads Division (MPD) pioneers remote sensing systems that drive the nation’s space enterprise. With expertise in electronics, sensors, radar, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced data networks, MPD advances technology from research and development to demonstration and integration. Leveraging cutting-edge laboratories and prototyping, MPD delivers groundbreaking results, supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), intelligence community (IC), and commercial clients in achieving critical missions.

Aerospace is looking for Space Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineers to join the Communication and Network Architectures Subdivision (CNAS) within MPD.

CNAS specializes in analysis, modeling and simulation, and laboratory activities to design and evaluate communication systems, digital signal processing algorithms, and space networks that transport signals to meet customer needs. Engineers in CNAS tackle complex technical challenges to ensure the success of U.S. Government military and national programs while shaping the future of space.

Ideal candidates are highly motivated engineers eager to continuously expand their knowledge of satellite systems, technical solutions, and customer requirements. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from experienced engineers while contributing expertise to the team over time.
